NEWS12-13-06 I am sad to inform all of you that due to unresolvable personal differences, Scott Lindell is no longer a member of RedHorse. Needless to say, this a bump in the road, however, we do not plan on missing any of our scheduled shows. With Scott's unfortunate departure, RedHorse would like to announce Sean King as the newest member of RedHorse. Sean has always been a member of the RedHorse family, and Dave, Jason, and I are excited to have him as a member of the band. Over the next month, we plan on busting our asses to make sure Sean is comfortable, and ready to kick some serious ass in Dayton on January 13th. Thanks to all of you for your continued support. --Brian, Jason, Dave, and Sean 10-12-06 Hey everybody, if you haven't heard, the end of October is going to be a very busy month for RedHorse. We've had a lot of shows added, which will be our last stretch before we do some recording. So check out the shows section to see when RedHorse will be playing near you. Also, start planning now, RedHorse will be in Chicago on Monday, November 6th for the 2nd round of the Bodog Battle of the Bands. Plan your road trip now!!!! 9-21-06 Hey, we finally found out when we go back to Chicago to play the 2nd round of the Bodog Battle of the Bands. The date is Monday, November 6th and we're playing at the Logan Square Auditorium. Our buddies Test Pilot from Wisconsin are on the show with us again, so that should be a blast. If you live in Chi-Town, we need to see you there. If you don't live in Chicago, it's a hell of a town, and you need a road trip. 9-08-06 Now that summer is coming to an end, it's time to tell you what RedHorse did on their summer vacation. It's been a fairly quiet, but productive summer. We didn't play many shows, but did manage to play in Chicago, Louisville, and Columbus. The show is Chicago was part of the Bodog Battle of the Bands, and we finished first out of 8 bands that played that night. We should learn the date for Round 2 any day now. Slowly but surely, we're cranking out new songs. We're up to 9 1/2 songs, that aren't on Moonshine Tabernacle. Which brings me to what's coming this Fall from RedHorse. First on our agenda is to record the new material. We're in the process of gather new art, and planning to get some new merch in the coming months. Be sure to check this site, and www.myspace.com/redhorserocks for updated shows and news. Also, we have new messageboards. So if you were registered before, you need to re-register. And if you've never registered, what is yo funky ass waitin' fo? --ROCK!!! --RedHorse 3-28-06 Hey everybody, update time. About a month ago, we went into the studio and recorded 2 new songs, "Too High & Tired", and "Ghoster". You can now hear those songs at myspace.com/redhorserocks. Coming up this Saturday, we have been added to IndianapolisMusic.net 's 5th Birthday Party. Check that out in our "Shows" section, along with an all ages show in Columbus, IN on April 8th. The new shirts are onsale now at our shows, and will soon be available at Dan's Downtown Records (219 W. Main St.). One final note, we have a new bio picture. Again, thanks to Liz @ 110db.com. If you visit 110db.com, you can see her photos of the 2005 Battle of the Bands with even more pictures of RedHorse. ROCK!!! 2-19-06 It looks like this is going to be a busy end of Winter, beginning of Spring for RedHorse. We're working on a lot of different projects so that we can help spread the word of RedHorse. First, we're working on T-Shirts for both guys and girls. We're hoping to have something by the beginning of March, but the designs are still being worked on. Our next goal is to release a brand new e.p. with a mix of new songs and some live stuff. We're going into the studio this weekend with Tyler Watkins to record at least 2 new songs. Hopefully we'll have something pressed and ready to sell by the end of April (at the very latest). We've updated the pictures section of the site with some cool shots from Birdy's and the Dead Leaf Fest. We should have some new promo shots up on the site very soon as well, courtesy of Liz @ 110db.com. On top of all that, we've got some more shows coming up. Check the updated shows section which includes a show in March with Jucifer!!! ROCK!!! 1-22-06 It's finally official, Mantis is dead! Everyone, introduce yourself to RedHorse. Because Sharon Osborne threw a monkey wrench into our plans with the Battle for Ozzfest, we have been looking over our shoulders and answering questions about that "other" Manntis. With a new year on the horizon, and big things ahead, we decided that now was the time to make that change. It's not going to be an easy transition. There are going to be a lot of, "Mant....I mean RedHorse", moments. The only way to make this process an easy one is for everyone to spread the word of RedHorse!!! A special thanks goes out to Trevor Patton (for all of our new artwork at the drop of a hat I might add), Steve Janiak (who created the new site at a moments notice, and for his continued support of what we do), Rob Hough (who is graciously providing our new site a home on his server), Ian Dunham (who will have new stickers for us when we play Dead Leaf next week), and to all of our fans. 2005 was an incredible year, we traveled to new clubs, met new friends, and got to play the Vogue. 2006 looks to be just as great, and hopefully we'll have a new album sometime this year! See you at the shows --RedHorse |
